2020 Graduation parade on Sunday May 31, 2:00pm - Friday, May 29, 2020

Join the parade to honor and support our graduating seniors from Olivet High School! Each senior will have an area on First Street across from the Middle School where they can set up a display if they wish. Family and friends will line up in vehicles starting at the old football field driveway on First Street heading towards the Middle School no sooner than 1:30pm. Vehicles will continue to line up back to Church Street to Cottage Street to Spruce Street. There will be barricades with directional signs at the intersections.

In order for this to run smoothly, we must follow these rules:NO exiting vehicles, No stopping during the parade, NO passing and NO throwing or handing items from the vehicle. During the parade, the only traffic on First Street will be parade participants. Traffic on the other streets being used for staging will continue to flow as normal.

Most importantly, have fun and stay safe!

Congratulations OHS Class of 2020!

Dog Licenses

2020 Dog License Changes

New for 2020!

An Eaton County dog license is required for all dogs four months or older. Licensing provides good pet identification, ensures dogs are vaccinated for rabies, and proves you are the owner.

Licensing will switch from a calendar year renewal to a renewal date based on your pet's rabies vaccination date in 2020. All 2019 licenses will be given amnesty until the rabies vaccination date of the dog in 2020. The purchase of 2020 licenses will not begin until January 1, 2020. There will be no new licenses issued in December 2019. A renewal notice will be mailed to licensed pet owners 30 days prior to their 2020 renewal date. To purchase a three-year license a valid rabies vaccination must be good for three years. A 2019 license will not become delinquent until the last day of the month in which the rabies vaccination expires.
